About the Role

We are seeking compassionate Personal Care Attendants (PCA) to provide high-quality, person-centred support to older Australians and people living with disability. You’ll help clients maintain dignity, independence, and wellbeing in home and community settings.

Key Responsibilities

- Provide personal care: showering, grooming, dressing, continence care, oral hygiene, and toileting in line with care plans.
- Assist with protected mobility and transfers (hoists, slide sheets, wheelchairs), adhering to manual handling procedures.
- Support activities of daily living (meal preparation, feeding assistance, light domestic tasks).
- Observe, document, and promptly report changes in client health, behaviour, or risks.
- Uphold infection prevention and control standards and maintain a safe environment.
- Respect cultural, linguistic, and individual preferences; protect client privacy and rights.




- Accurately complete progress notes, incident reports, and rostered documentation.

Skills & Experience Required
- Certificate III in Individual Support (Ageing/Disability/Home & Community) or equivalent.
- Demonstrated experience in aged care, disability support, or personal care (community, residential, or hospital).
- Sound understanding of care plans, person-centred care, and duty of care.
- Strong communication, empathy, and professional boundaries.
- Current First Aid & CPR, and Manual Handling training.
- NDIS Worker Screening Check / National Police Check (or willingness to obtain).
- Desired: Experience with dementia care, challenging behaviours, and pressure injury prevention.

Pay: From $35.00 per hour
