We are currently seeking an experienced Pre and Post Worker to join our South Brisbane Community Services team. This is a Full-Time opportunity

Your Opportunity

As a Pre and Post Worker, you will provide individual support, case management, assessment, and care coordination to clients before and after treatment, helping them engage with services, overcome barriers, and build sustainable recovery pathways within their communities. This role offers the opportunity to work with a diverse client group while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team committed to achieving positive outcomes.

The salary for this role is $105,000 - $110,000 pro rata plus Superannuation, depending on qualifications and experience. You'll also have access to Salary Packaging benefits to increase your take-home pay and a wide range of employee discounts through Perkbox.

You will bring

- Experience supporting clients through assessment, screening, care planning, and service coordination.
- Knowledge of evidence-based practice principles and how to apply them in a client-centred environment.
- Demonstrated skills in motivational interviewing and behaviour change approaches.
- Strong interpersonal skills, including active listening, empathy, emotional intelligence, and non-judgmental communication.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with diverse stakeholders.
- Resilience, adaptability, and the ability to support people experiencing complex challenges.
- Strong time management and organisational skills, with the ability to work autonomously and manage competing priorities.
- Solid computer skills and a commitment to maintaining accurate and timely client records.

Tertiary qualifications in social work, psychology, behavioural science, counselling, community services, or a related field are highly regarded.

Most importantly, you'll demonstrate a genuine alignment with the Lives Lived Well values:
- We are humble, human, and full of hope
- We show up and share
- We ask: Why not? And what's next?
- We leave a positive wake

The successful applicant will be required to obtain a National Police Check and hold a current Australian Driver Licence.

You'll join a curious team that embraces innovation, values collaboration, and supports each other through change. We look to the evidence, explore current ideas, and continuously seek better ways of supporting our clients and communities. Some of our benefits include:
