Role Description This is a part-time remote role for a Prompt Engineer.

The Prompt

Engineer will design, refine, and test prompts for AI models to achieve accurate, reliable, and useful outputs across a variety of use cases. Day-to-day tasks include analyzing requirements, drafting prompt frameworks, iterating based on feedback, and documenting best practices for prompt usage. The role involves collaborating with stakeholders to understand business needs, creating prompt libraries, and evaluating AI responses for quality, consistency, and bias.

Engineer will also monitor performance metrics, propose improvements, and help train team members on effective prompt design.

Qualifications

- Ability to design, test, and refine prompts for large language models and other AI tools, with a strong focus on clarity, accuracy, and repeatability.
- Robust analytical and problem-solving skills, including the capacity to break down complex requirements into structured, testable prompt scenarios.




- Excellent written communication skills in English, with the ability to write concise, clear instructions, guidelines, and documentation.
- Comfort working with digital collaboration tools and data-driven workflows, including version control or prompt libraries.
- Understanding of AI/ML concepts, generative AI capabilities and limitations, and awareness of ethical considerations such as fairness and bias.
- Ability to work independently in a remote setting, manage part-time hours effectively, and meet deadlines in a dynamic environment.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in a relevant field (e.g., Computer Science, Linguistics, Data Science, Engineering, or related disciplines) is preferred but not mandatory.
- Prior experience in prompt engineering, UX writing, technical writing, or AI product support is an advantage.
