The Role An opportunity has become available for a Psychologist - Senior (Rehabilitation) to join Gold Coast Health (GCH) where the focus of our 14 000-robust team is on providing world-class health care to people living in the Gold Coast, and northern New South Wales region of Australia.
You will
Provide advanced support, clinical leadership, management and professional liaison for clients
Apply professional leadership and judgement to a complex clinical psychology caseload
Initiate and contribute to formal clinical research activities
Provide professional supervision to less experienced Psychologists and students
About you To be successful in this position you will require:
Tertiary degree in Psychology (or equivalent)
Registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
Evidence of vaccination, or be able to be vaccinated against and remain vaccinated against - Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Varicella, Pertussis and Hepatitis B
Tuberculosis screening, to identify if the tuberculosis vaccination may be required
Declaration of serious discipline history must be disclosed
Criminal History Screening will be required for new employees (GCH will cover cost)

Permanent part time (60.8 hours per fortnight)
Base salary ranging from $64.64 - $69.55 per hour
About Us The Psychology Service is located within the Allied Health Services and provides both inpatient and outpatient care to hospital patients with physical health and comorbid psychological presentations. The Psychology Service teamwork within and alongside interdisciplinary teams, providing a holistic focus on patient care and management across the patient's hospital and discharge journey.
