Role DescriptionWe are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical QA Analyst to support software quality assurance activities and help ensure applications, systems, and digital products meet defined functional, usability, performance, and quality standards. This role is responsible for planning and executing test activities, identifying defects, documenting findings, and collaborating with development teams to deliver reliable and user-friendly software solutions.

The successful candidate will assist with reviewing business and technical requirements to understand expected system behavior and testing objectives. You will help prepare test scenarios, test cases, test data, and testing checklists based on functional requirements and user workflows.

The role involves performing manual testing across web applications, mobile applications, software platforms, APIs, and other digital products. You will execute functional, regression, integration, usability, compatibility, and exploratory tests while carefully documenting results and identifying unexpected system behavior.

You will identify, reproduce, investigate, and document software defects using appropriate issue-tracking systems. Responsibilities include providing clear descriptions of defects, recording reproduction steps, attaching relevant evidence, assessing potential impact, monitoring resolution status, and performing retesting after fixes are implemented.

The position requires working closely with software developers, product managers, business analysts, project managers, and other stakeholders throughout the software development lifecycle. You will communicate testing results, clarify requirements, discuss potential issues, and support collaborative efforts to resolve defects efficiently.

You will assist with regression testing to verify that software changes, enhancements, and bug fixes do not negatively affect existing functionality.



You will maintain organized test documentation and contribute to the development of reusable testing scenarios and quality assurance procedures.

The role also includes supporting user acceptance testing (UAT), release validation, system verification, and pre-production testing activities. You will help ensure that applications meet defined acceptance criteria before being released to users.

You will use testing and collaboration tools to record test results, manage defects, monitor testing progress, and communicate quality-related information. The role encourages the use of test automation, AI-assisted testing, API testing, performance testing, and modern quality assurance technologies as technical capabilities develop.

You will contribute to continuous quality improvement by identifying recurring defects, testing gaps, process inefficiencies, and opportunities to strengthen testing practices. Robust attention to detail, logical thinking, curiosity, communication skills, and a willingness to learn are essential for supporting reliable software delivery and maintaining high-quality user experiences.

Qualifications

- Understanding of software quality assurance, software testing, and software development lifecycle (SDLC) principles.
- Basic knowledge of manual testing methodologies, test planning, test case creation, defect tracking, and regression testing.
- Familiarity with functional, integration, usability, compatibility, exploratory, and user acceptance testing concepts.
- Ability to read and understand software requirements, user stories, acceptance criteria, and basic technical documentation.




- Familiarity with defect management and issue-tracking platforms such as Jira, Azure DevOps, Bugzilla, or similar tools.
- Basic understanding of web applications, mobile applications, APIs, databases, and common software architectures.
- Basic knowledge of SQL and databases for data validation and testing is advantageous.
- Familiarity with API testing tools such as Postman or similar platforms is advantageous.
- Basic understanding of test automation concepts and tools such as Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, or similar technologies is advantageous.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to identify inconsistencies, unexpected behavior, and potential quality issues.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to investigate defects and determine clear reproduction steps.
- Ability to create clear and structured test cases, test reports, defect reports, and testing documentation.
- Good written and verbal communication skills with the ability to explain technical issues clearly.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with developers, product teams, business analysts, project managers, and other stakeholders.
- Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple testing tasks and priorities.
- Basic understanding of version control, CI/CD, Agile, Scrum, or other software development practices is advantageous.
- Familiarity with browser developer tools, cross-browser testing, mobile testing, and basic performance testing is advantageous.
- Understanding of data privacy, information security, and responsible handling of test data.
