Role Description
We are seeking a Quantitative Analyst / Quantitative Research Analyst to develop analytical models, conduct quantitative research, and generate data-driven insights for business and investment decision-making. The role involves collecting and analyzing large datasets, developing statistical and mathematical models, testing hypotheses, identifying patterns, and evaluating model performance. You will conduct quantitative research, perform statistical analysis, build forecasting and optimization models, and translate complex findings into actionable insights.
Responsibilities may also include developing research methodologies, validating models, analyzing market or business data, automating analytical workflows, and preparing technical reports and presentations. The ideal candidate combines solid mathematical and statistical capabilities with programming skills, intellectual curiosity, and a rigorous approach to problem-solving.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, Computer Science, Engineering, Physics, Finance, or a related quantitative discipline.
- Strong foundation in probability, statistics, linear algebra, calculus, optimization, and quantitative modeling.
- Proficiency in Python, R, MATLAB,
or comparable programming and statistical analysis tools.
- Strong ability to work with large datasets, perform data analysis, and develop reproducible analytical workflows.
- Familiarity with statistical modeling, time-series analysis, regression, machine learning, or numerical methods.
- Ability to formulate research questions, develop hypotheses, conduct quantitative experiments, and interpret results rigorously.
- Strong understanding of data structures, algorithms, and computational methods.
- Familiarity with SQL, databases, data visualization, and version control tools is an advantage.
- Ability to validate models, assess assumptions, identify limitations, and communicate analytical results clearly.
- Strong mathematical reasoning, analytical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to accuracy, reproducibility, and research integrity.
- Ability to communicate complex quantitative concepts effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Strong intellectual curiosity and willingness to explore new methodologies, datasets, and analytical techniques.
