The Mount Magnet hub encompasses the Dalgaranga, Cue, Mount Magnet and Penny mining areas and is at the heart of Ramelius’s 500 horsepower growth strategy. Spanning a portfolio of Archean gold deposits, encompassing high-grade shear-hosted lodes, BIF-hosted systems, and structurally controlled, high-grade deposits across multiple greenstone belts, the region spans diverse geological terrain.

The Role

Supporting our vision to build a Leading Exploration Function, the newly-created role of Regional Manager - Resource Definition will provide site-based leadership for regional resource definition activities across the Mount Magnet hub. Working closely with the Exploration & Mine Geology teams, you will transition exploration opportunities into safe, practical and technically robust drilling and evaluation programs, while building a high-performing and cohesive team.

Your Key Responsibilities Will Include

- Translate growth opportunities into regional resource definition plans, drilling programs and budgets
- Develop a high-performing team of geologists and technical professionals
- Guide the team to generate and rank targets aligned to resource definition priorities




- Review and approve drill programs, geological interpretations and technical recommendations
- Lead the safe and efficient delivery of drilling, logging, sampling and field activities.
- Progress inferred to indicated resources across near mine and regional targets
- Provide technical governance of geological interpretation, QAQC, data management and development of preliminary resource models
- Support Mineral Resource estimation, classification, reconciliation and reporting outcomes
- Contribute to JORC-compliant reporting and ASX announcements
- Manage program performance, budgets, schedules and risks to achieve resource growth objectives
- Prioritise developing strong internal and external collaborator and stakeholder relationships
- Set the values, standards and accountabilities that drive future team success

About You You are an experienced and technically strong geology leader with diverse experience across gold exploration and resource development. You have experience in successful delivery of projects from scoping to feasibility status, show sound commercial judgement and provide visible safety leadership. You excel at developing and leading capable teams, influencing diverse stakeholders and delivering results in complex, fast-paced environments.

You Will Bring

- Degree qualified in Geology, Geoscience,



Earth Sciences or a related discipline.
- Extensive leadership experience in gold exploration, resource definition, or mining geology
- Demonstrated accountability in planning, budgeting, safety and program delivery
- Proven experience managing drilling, logging, sampling, contractor and field-based operations across multiple priorities
- Solid technical expertise in geological interpretation, 3D modelling, QAQC, sampling methodologies and geological data management
- Sound understanding of Mineral Resource estimation, classification, reconciliation, reporting and JORC requirements
- Current membership of AusIMM and/or AIG.
- Proficiency in geological modelling, GIS and database systems (e.g. Leapfrog, Micromine and Datashed).
- Strong commercial, stakeholder and people leadership skills
- Statutory schedule 26 qualification is essential
- Statutory Exploration Manager or SSE qualification would be preferred
