Buildemics is an early stage education startup connecting ambitious high school students in India to PhD mentors at top US and European universities for real research projects.
We believe students should explore what they want to study before committing to a degree and spending 50 lakhs on it. We are building the infrastructure to make that possible — starting with 6 week research projects that give students a published paper, a Letter of Recommendation, and real academic experience before they ever step into a university.
We launched our founding cohort and had 250 plus students reach out on day one.
We are just getting started.
Role: Research Mentor, PhD (Part Time, Remote)
What you will do
Guide one high school student through a 6 week research project in your domain. Sessions are 2 to 3 hours per week, fully remote, and structured around your availability.
Domains we are hiring for:
Data Science and AI. Economics and Finance. Biological Sciences.
What we are looking for
A PhD student who loves their subject and enjoys working with younger students who are genuinely curious.
