Kiama Community College is seeking a proactive, positive and inclusive, community minded Coordinator for our RISE (Rewarding, Inclusive, Social Education) Program. The RISE Program is designed for students with disabilities who are NDIS participants. It focuses on Rewarding Inclusive Social Education, providing classes that help students learn, socialise and engage in the local community.

About the Role

This role iso offered on a part-time, fixed term basis for six months (0.4 FTE, 15.2 hours per week, approximately 2 days per week). As the RISE Coordinator, you will oversee the day-to-day coordination, administration and delivery of the program, ensuring participants have access to engaging, inclusive and meaningful learning and community experiences.

Key Responsibilities

- Coordinate the delivery and administration of the RISE Program
- Foster positive relationships with participants, families and key stakeholders.
- Support participant engagement, wellbeing and achievement of goals.
- Facilitate inclusive learning, social and community participation opportunities.
- Maintain program records, reporting and compliance requirements.
- Contribute to the ongoing growth and success of the program.

About You (Selection Criteria)

Qualifications

- Relevant qualifications in Community Services, Disability, Human Services, Education, Business Administration or related discipline.




- Current NDIS Worker Screening Check or ability to obtain.
- Current Working with Children Check.
- Current National Police Check or ability to obtain
- Current First Aid and CPR certification or willingness to obtain.
- Current Unrestricted Driver Licence.

We’re looking for someone who brings;

- Experience coordinating programs within the disability, community, education or related sectors.
- Knowledge of person-centred supports and the NDIS framework.
- Outstanding organisational, communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
- The ability to manage competing priorities and solve problems proactively.
- Robust administrative and computer skills, including Microsoft Office.
- A commitment to delivering high-quality, inclusive services and continuously improving participant outcomes.
