About The Role The RPAS Pilot operates and maintains Infravision's proprietary construction equipment and field robotics, including drone payloads in multiple weight classes (including >25kg), for construction operations in Australia and internationally, working wide-ranging DIDO/FIFO roster cycles.
Key Responsibilities
- Pilot drones for construction operations, ensuring safe flight operations and mission success
- Operate UAS in active construction environments in accordance with CASA legislation
- Obtain or hold a High Risk Work Licence in Dogging and Basic Rigging for transmission line construction
- Carry out construction support activities including manual handling and machine operation
- Participate in daily site meetings and hazard identification/reporting
- Conduct planning and preparation for upcoming projects
- Maintain currency for all required competencies through training
Essential Requirements
- Working rights in Australia, current driver's licence and passport with no restrictions
- Ability to operate in construction environments across a range of conditions
- Willingness to travel domestically and occasionally internationally
- Willingness to work DIDO/FIFO rosters (typically 21 days on, 7 days off)
- Ability to pass an Australian Police background check and comply with Infravision's Drug and Alcohol Policy
- Professional communication skills and commitment to safety and quality
