Safety Lead

At Hanes Brands Australasia, we're looking for a passionate and influential Safety Lead to drive our safety strategy and partner with leaders across our, distribution centre operations.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced safety professional who thrives on building strong relationships, influencing change and creating a proactive safety culture.

What you'll be doing

- Lead the delivery of safety programs, initiatives and compliance activities
- Partner with leaders to identify, assess and mitigate workplace risks
- Drive injury prevention, incident management and return to work outcomes
- Provide coaching and guidance to leaders on safety best practice
- Analyse safety data and trends to identify opportunities for improvement
- Support audits, investigations and regulatory requirements
- Champion continuous improvement and a positive safety culture across the business

What you'll bring

- Proven experience in a Health, Safety & Wellbeing role
- Strong knowledge of workplace health and safety legislation and compliance requirements




- Experience influencing stakeholders across multiple levels of an organisation
- Outstanding communication and relationship-building skills
- Strong problem-solving and investigation capabilities
- A proactive, hands-on approach with a passion for continuous improvement
