About the Company

Sicame Australia is part of the world's largest independent electrical accessories group, designing and manufacturing high performance products used by Utilities, electrical distributors, contractors, OEMs and major infrastructure projects across the country. We're looking for an experienced, relationship driven Sales Representative to take on an established Sydney territory, with warm client relationships already in place across commercial and industrial customers and electrical wholesalers.

About the Role

You'll take on an established Sydney and NSW territory with warm client relationships already in place, working with commercial and industrial customers, electrical wholesalers and contractors to grow existing accounts and win new business.

Responsibilities

- Manage and grow relationships with commercial and industrial customers, electrical wholesalers and contractors
- Deliver product training, toolbox talks, demonstrations and site visits
- Identify growth opportunities and introduce new products into existing and new accounts
- Maintain forecasting, call cycles and territory plans
- Attend trade events, expos, distributor days and customer meetings
- Provide technical support (training provided) and problem solve in the field





This is a hands on, customer facing role suited to someone who loves getting out on the road, building on existing relationships, and becoming the go to technical partner in their patch.

Qualifications

You will be successful in this role if you are:

- An experienced Account Manager with a track record of exceeding sales targets
- Interested in power generation, distribution and renewable energy markets
- Excellent at building client relationships and trusted partnerships
- Confident presenting, demonstrating and training customers on technical products
- Organised with territory planning, pipelines and account management
- Self motivated, proactive and commercially minded

Preferred Skills

Bonus points if you have experience selling into power utilities, electrical distributors, switchboard builders, contractors, or LV/MV/HV equipment or tools. Or have an electrical engineering qualification or background.
