About The Role

As the nation's energy market operator, we take our cyber security responsibilities very seriously. AEMO is a recognised leader and exemplar of effective cyber security within the energy sector domestically and internationally. Our Cyber team’s vision is that AEMO has an embedded cyber and security safety culture that everyone understands, supports and lives day-to-day. This role sits under a function known as Enterprise Security Awareness and Enablement (ESA&E;)

You will be responsible for designing, managing, and optimising Security Awareness training campaign elements across capability domains.

Your role will translate programs into scalable campaigns, drive maturity and ensure alignment to behavioural and risk outcomes.

This is a 12-month fixed term contract that can be based in Melbourne, Sydney or Brisbane.





Please note that to be eligible for this role you require Australian citizenship and the ability to obtain and maintain a national security clearance.

What You Will Be Doing

- Design and lead delivery of Security Awareness & training campaigns such as role-based training, awareness and phishing campaigns ensuring alignment to defined capability areas and maturity targets.
- Develop and maintain role-based training pathways including technical and high-risk roles.
- Design and execute awareness campaigns aligned to roadmaps and current threat landscape using behavioural design principles to improve adoption.
- Manage and deliver delivery channels (LMS, Proofpoint, communications, phishing, events) ensuring audience segmented to use targeted engagement approaches.
- Track and report on training completion, behavioural metrics, engagement and analyse trends.

you’ll also have:

- Strong communication and storytelling skills, with the ability to simplify complex ideas.
- Experience designing and delivering awareness programs or training campaigns.
- A solid understanding of cyber security risks, frameworks and regulations (e.g. AESCSF, Australian ISM, Australian privacy laws, PSPF and other industry recognised frameworks and or standards).
- Knowledge of instructional design and behavioural change principles.
- Proven ability to manage long-term programs and influence across diverse teams
