The Prospect

Reporting directly to an experienced partner, you will play a key role in advising a broad range of clients on corporate, commercial and strategic business matters. The role offers a high degree of autonomy, client exposure and responsibility, making it particularly attractive to a lawyer looking to take the next meaningful step in their career.

This position would suit a Senior Associate or Special Counsel with a robust background in Corporate M&A;, Commercial, or Corporate Advisory work gained within a respected private practice environment.

Key Responsibilities

You will be involved in:

- Advising clients on mergers, acquisitions, disposals and other corporate transactions.
- Drafting, reviewing and negotiating a broad range of commercial agreements.
- Providing corporate governance and general corporate advisory advice.




- Advising on shareholder arrangements, joint ventures and business structuring matters.
- Managing transaction processes, due diligence exercises and completion requirements.
- Building and maintaining trusted client relationships.
- Supervising and mentoring junior lawyers as the team continues to grow.
- Working closely with the partner on business development initiatives and strategic client opportunities.
- Supporting clients operating within the aviation, aerospace, maritime and logistics sectors on a variety of commercial and transactional matters.

About You To be successful in this role, you will ideally have:

- Approximately 6 years' post-qualification experience (although all strong candidates will be considered).
- A strong background in general commercial law and/or corporate M&A;, corporate advisory.
- Excellent drafting, negotiation and client management skills.
- A commercial and pragmatic approach to problem solving.
- The ability to work autonomously while also thriving within a collaborative team environment.
- A genuine interest in developing expertise within the aviation, aerospace, maritime and logistics sectors.
- Strong interpersonal skills and a desire to play a meaningful role in the growth of the practice.
