About the Role

HSV is seeking two experienced procurement leaders to join our Procurement Division as Senior Category Leads:

- Senior Category Lead – Pharmaceuticals
- Senior Category Lead – Indirect Procurement Services (IPS)

Reporting to the Head of Sourcing, you will be responsible for leading category management and strategic sourcing activities within your portfolio while driving procurement excellence, stakeholder engagement, supplier performance and benefits realisation outcomes. Key Accountabilities Include, but Are Not Limited To:

- Develop and implement category management and sourcing strategies aligned to organisational objectives.
- Lead complex sourcing projects, negotiations and supplier relationship management initiatives.
- Drive procurement governance, compliance, reporting and benefits realisation activities.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with health services, suppliers and key stakeholders.
- Identify and deliver opportunities for cost optimisation, service improvements and innovation.
- Lead, mentor and develop procurement professionals within the sourcing stream.
- Contribute to strategic planning,



business performance and continuous improvement initiatives.

About You

You will be a highly capable procurement professional with demonstrated experience in category management and strategic sourcing within a complex environment.

You will bring

- Extensive procurement and category management experience.
- Strong commercial acumen and strategic thinking capability.
- Experience leading high-performing teams and developing procurement capability.
- Proven stakeholder engagement, influencing and relationship management skills.
- Experience delivering procurement benefits, cost savings and service improvements.
- Strong governance, risk management and reporting capabilities.

For the Pharmaceutical Portfolio

You will ideally have

- Experience within pharmaceutical procurement, healthcare procurement or related healthcare supply chain environments.
- Understanding of pharmaceutical markets, supplier dynamics and supply continuity considerations.
- Experience engaging with clinical, pharmacy or healthcare stakeholders.

For the IPS Portfolio

You will ideally have

- Experience managing indirect procurement categories such as utilities, facilities management, corporate services or qualified services.
- Demonstrated success delivering value through complex indirect sourcing initiatives.
- Strong commercial and supplier management capability across indirect spend categories.
