The Role The Senior Clinical Lead (SCL) position reports to the Manager of Community Health Services (MCHS) and collaborates with Senior Management and administration to lead and support the Community Health Services Team. The role ensures the provision of reliable, high-quality, in-home nursing care that prioritises a person-centered approach for clients, families, and healthcare providers while meeting best-practice clinical benchmarks.
Responsibilities include managing a small caseload and providing internal and external clinical supervision for quality assurance, accreditation, and other organisational initiatives.
Requirements
- Extensive experience in managing and leading healthcare teams.
- Demonstrated ability to maintain high clinical standards aligned with compliance, governance, and the National Safety & Quality Health Service Standards (NSQHSS).
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritise and meet deadlines.
- Creative thinking, opportunity identification, and advanced problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work in a team environment and coordinate multiple tasks to achieve strategic outcomes.
Mandatory Requirements
- Current unrestricted registration as a Registered Nurse (RN) with the Australian Health Practitioner Registration Authority (AHPRA).
- Satisfactory National Police Check.
- Working with Vulnerable People Check.
- Full Tasmanian Driverâs License.
- Willingness to travel intrastate as required.
