An established Adelaide-based ICT solutions provider is growing its infrastructure capability and is looking for experienced Infrastructure Technical Consultants to join its team across both permanent and 6-month contract opportunities.

In this role, you’ll be involved in designing, delivering and improving infrastructure solutions across a range of client environments, working alongside experienced technical specialists, project managers and solution architects.

What you’ll be doing

You’ll take ownership of infrastructure projects from technical scoping through to implementation and handover, with the variety that comes from working across different environments and client requirements.

Your responsibilities will include:

- Designing and implementing infrastructure solutions across Windows Server, Hyper-V, NetApp, Veeam and cloud environments, including Azure and/or AWS.
- Leading technical delivery across client and data centre environments.
- Translating requirements into practical, robust infrastructure solutions.
- Working closely with solution architects and project managers to deliver projects from design through to completion.
- Engaging directly with clients and providing technical guidance throughout delivery.




- Supporting project handover into managed services and contributing to post-project reviews and lessons learned.
- Troubleshooting complex infrastructure issues when your expertise is required.
- Sharing knowledge with the wider technical team through collaboration, mentoring and technical sessions.
- Staying across emerging infrastructure technologies and identifying opportunities to improve how solutions are delivered.

What will make you successful

We’re looking for someone who is comfortable operating as a senior technical consultant, rather than simply a hands-on engineer.

You’ll ideally bring:

- 6 years’ experience across infrastructure engineering and solution delivery.
- Strong experience with Windows Server and virtualisation, particularly Hyper-V.
- Hands-on experience with technologies such as NetApp, Veeam, Azure and/or AWS.
- A track record of delivering infrastructure solutions within client, enterprise or data centre environments.
- The ability to take ownership of technical outcomes and work independently when required.
- Strong communication skills and the confidence to engage with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- A genuine interest in solving problems,



learning new technologies and sharing your knowledge with others.

Experience with VMware Horizon, enterprise storage such as Dell or HPE, or infrastructure within defence or other highly regulated environments would be advantageous.
