- Acting as the primary escalation point for complex assessing matters and technical enquiries.
- Supporting Assessing Team Managers with complex customer complaints and claim resolutions.
- Conducting vehicle assessments through both digital platforms and physical inspections.
- Determining repair methodology, repair costs and total loss outcomes in line with company and industry standards.
- Establishing market values for total loss claims and ensuring compliance with salvage and Written-Off Vehicle Register requirements.
- Reviewing third-party demands and providing recommendations on claim liability and reasonableness.
- Managing customer and repairer enquiries to ensure a positive claims experience.
- Monitoring repair progress and quality standards to achieve timely and effective claim outcomes.
- Assisting during Catastrophic Weather Events,

including occasional interstate travel when required.

About You

We're looking for a highly experienced motor assessing professional who combines strong technical expertise with a customer-focused approach and a passion for supporting others.

To be successful in this role, you'll bring:

- Code Approved Assessor status through one of the following:
- 5 years' experience as a panel beater, spray painter or motor mechanic; or
- 7 years' experience as a motor insurance assessor; or
- Certificate IV in Vehicle Loss Assessing.

- Demonstrated experience assessing motor vehicle damage and preparing accurate repair estimates.
- Strong technical knowledge of vehicle repair methods, industry standards and assessing practices.
- Experience providing guidance, coaching or technical support to others.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with customers, repairers and colleagues.
- Robust problem-solving skills and sound judgement when managing complex claims matters.
- The ability to work autonomously while contributing positively to a collaborative team environment.
- A current and unrestricted driver's licence.

Experience using Estimage (Stelvio) and Microsoft Excel will be highly regarded.
