Your New Role In this role, you will assist in the processing of the US fortnightly and UK monthly payrolls, ensuring final payroll outputs are checked and approved prior to payments being finalised. You will assist with reconciliations between the payroll system and general ledger, investigate and resolve complex payroll issues where required, and support annual payroll reporting obligations.

You will work closely with colleagues across the Fund, including Colleagues and Culture, Global Mobility, the Australian Payroll Team, internal and external auditors, and third-party payroll providers. You will also help maintain payroll procedures, support process improvement, and ensure security, confidentiality and integrity of personnel information is always maintained.

Key duties include but are not limited to;

- Assist in the processing of the US fortnightly and UK monthly payrolls.

- Act as backup for the Australian fortnightly payroll, particularly across leave and high-volume periods.

- Ensure final payroll outputs are checked and approved prior to payments being finalised.

- Assist with reconciliations between the payroll system and general ledger, and investigate, reconcile and resolve complex payroll issues where required.





- Assist with all UK and US annual payroll reporting obligations, including reporting requirements with internal and external auditors.

- Process payroll aspects of international transfers and secondees, working alongside Colleagues and Culture, Global Mobility and the Australian Payroll Team.

- Regularly review process and procedural documentation to ensure they are maintained and kept up to date, including associated roles and responsibilities.

- Respond to employee payroll related queries in a timely manner and build strong internal relationships across all levels of the Fund.

What You'll Need

- Experience in all aspects of full cycle payroll processing.

- UK payroll experience.

- US payroll experience, desirable but not essential.

- Australian payroll experience, desirable but not essential.

- Demonstrated working knowledge of relevant payroll, pension and benefits regulation and legislation across the UK.

- Familiarity with HMRC requirements and other relevant regulatory bodies.

- Ability to identify when data and analysis is materially incorrect and provide solutions.

- Capacity to work under pressure and within tight deadlines in an accurate and timely manner.

- Strong ability to prioritise and complete tasks while adapting to changing demands.

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.





- Advanced knowledge of payroll systems and Microsoft Office suite, especially Excel.
