About the Role

As a Senior Technician/Commissioning Technician you’ll lead the configuration, integration and testing of our electronic security systems. This role may be fluid across both installation projects and service troubleshooting

Your responsibilities will include

Technical Responsibilities

- Maintain, troubleshoot, and service security systems
- Program and commission integrated electronic security systems
- Configure and support CCTV, IP surveillance, access control, intercom, and intrusion detection systems
- Install and commission network hardware and associated technologies
- Prepare technical reports and service documentation
- Desirable to have Gallagher Engineer experience

Project and Client Management

- Liaise directly with clients and stakeholders
- Deliver exceptional customer service and technical support
- Assist with project planning and system design
- Interpret architectural, mechanical, electrical, and security drawings
- Prepare minor quotations and technical recommendations
- Coordinate with subcontractors and project teams
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and client specifications

- Leadership
- Mentor apprentices, trainees, and junior technicians
- Share technical knowledge and support team development




- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives across the business

Systems Experience (Highly Regarded)

Experience with any of the following platforms will be highly advantageous:

- Tecom
- Milestone
- Forcefield Software Enterprise
- NX Witness
- SALTO
- Avigilon

Essential Requirements

- Current Security Industry Licence
- Current Open Registration Licence (with relevant endorsements)
- Construction Industry White Card
- Working With Children Check
- National Police Clearance
- Current South Australian Driver's Licence
- Strong troubleshooting and fault-finding skills

Highly Regarded

- simPRO Suite Experience
- Elevated Work Platform (EWP/Yellow Card)
- Senior First Aid Certificate
- Working at Heights
- Network configuration experience
- Healthcare, Government, or Education sector experience
