About the Role
We are seeking an experienced ServiceNow Developer / Integration Engineer to join our team and work on enterprise ServiceNow solutions, with a particular focus on security, risk and compliance capabilities.
This role is ideal for a strong ServiceNow technical professional who has hands-on experience across ServiceNow development, configuration, integrations and automation and has an interest in developing deeper expertise in the security and risk domain.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, configure and enhance ServiceNow solutions.
- Develop custom applications, workflows, business rules, client scripts, UI policies and Flow Designer automations.
- Build and maintain integrations between ServiceNow and enterprise/third-party systems using REST, SOAP and IntegrationHub.
- Develop and maintain ServiceNow scripts using JavaScript and platform scripting best practices.
- Configure and customise ServiceNow modules based on business and technical requirements.
- Participate in solution design, technical discussions, code reviews, testing and deployment.
- Troubleshoot ServiceNow platform issues and implement technical improvements.
- Work closely with security, risk, compliance, infrastructure and business stakeholders.
- Support the implementation and enhancement of ServiceNow Security, Risk and Compliance capabilities.
- Develop knowledge and hands-on expertise in Unified Security Exposure Management (USEM), Integrated Risk Management (IRM) and related ServiceNow security capabilities.
- Prepare and maintain technical documentation.
- Provide production support and continuous improvement for enterprise ServiceNow solutions.
Required Skills & Experience
- 5 years of hands-on ServiceNow development/integration experience.
- Strong experience with ServiceNow scripting and JavaScript.
- Strong experience with Business Rules, Client Scripts, Script Includes, UI Policies, Flow Designer and IntegrationHub.
- Hands-on experience developing REST and/or SOAP integrations.
- Strong understanding of ServiceNow platform architecture, configuration and development best practices.
- Experience working with enterprise ServiceNow implementations.
- Experience with Agile development methodologies.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Positive communication and stakeholder management skills.
Security & Risk Experience – Desirable
- ServiceNow Integrated Risk Management (IRM)
- ServiceNow Unified Security Exposure Management (USEM)
- ServiceNow Security Operations (SecOps)
- Vulnerability Response
- Governance, Risk & Compliance (GRC)
- Security incident management
- Cybersecurity or information security
- Risk and compliance platforms or processes
Certifications – Desirable
- ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA)
- ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (CAD)
- ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist – IRM
- Other relevant ServiceNow certifications
Note: Direct USEM or IRM experience is advantageous but not mandatory. Training and on-the-job development will be provided for the right candidate.
