Melville Subaru is seeking a qualified and experienced Automotive Technician to join our busy Service Department.

About the Role
As an Automotive Technician, you will be responsible for servicing, diagnosing and repairing a wide range of Subaru vehicles in accordance with manufacturer specifications and dealership standards.
You will work within a clean, modern workshop alongside an experienced and supportive team.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out scheduled servicing, maintenance and repairs
- Diagnose and rectify mechanical and electrical faults
- Perform vehicle inspections and accurately report any additional work required
- Complete warranty repairs in accordance with Subaru Australia procedures
- Use diagnostic equipment and manufacturer technical information
- Ensure all work is completed efficiently and to a high standard
- Maintain accurate job-card and repair-order documentation
- Follow all workplace health and safety procedures
- Maintain a clean, safe and organised working environment
About You
The successful applicant will have:
- A recognised Australian automotive trade qualification
- Previous experience as an Automotive Technician
- Strong mechanical,
electrical and diagnostic skills
- Excellent attention to detail and pride in their workmanship
- The ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team
- A reliable, positive and professional attitude
- A current WA manual driver’s licence
Subaru or dealership experience would be highly regarded; however, it is not essential, as manufacturer training will be provided.
