We are seeking a full-time Tank Trade Assistant to join our Perth Airport Depot team. Reporting to the Depot Manager, you will work as part of a small team responsible for maintaining, repairing and preparing our tank fleet.
About the role
Your responsibilities will include:
- Maintenance, servicing and repairs of tanks, frames and associated equipment
- Using hand and power tools, including fitting and removing components
- Painting, surface preparation and general maintenance
- Pressure vessel repairs and testing where trained and authorised
- Cleaning and preparing tanks for dispatch and return
- Maintaining a clean, safe and organised workshop and yard
- General depot duties as required
About you
We are looking for someone who:
- Has experience using hand and power tools
- Is practical, reliable and safety conscious
- Can work independently and as part of a team
- Is keen to learn and develop current skills
Working at Heights and Confined Space tickets are advantageous.
Requirements
- Current Australian driver's licence
- Eligible to work full-time in Australia
- Able to pass a pre-employment medical, including drug and alcohol testing
