Portsmith Fuel & Oil, a locally owned North Queensland company are seeking the services of suitably qualified Truck Driver on a full time basis to join their team at their Cairns based Depot. _______________________________________________
Qualifications & experience
- HC/ MC licence.
- Previous experience as a truck driver; fuel experience preferred but not essential
- Bulk Dangerous Goods licence preferred
- An SLP passport preferred
- Attention to detail and the ability complete all required paperwork
- Good customer service and communication skills
- Previous experience with Fatigue Management desirable
- The ability to work weekends, early mornings and/or evenings
Tasks & responsibilities
- Completing daily pre-start checks on vehicles and equipment
- Complete logbook and fatigue management procedures
- Follow instructions from schedulers for daily duties, trip sheets and time-frames
- Develop positive relationships with customers
- Loading, transportation and delivery of fuels
- Ensure safety and compliance is adhered to at all times
