We are currently recruiting for an experienced Senior Accountant to join a well-established and highly regarded accounting firm in a full-time, office-based position.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Senior Accountant, or a strong Intermediate Accountant who is ready to take the next step into a Senior-level role.

The Opportunity
Working across a diverse portfolio of clients, you will take ownership of accounting and taxation requirements while building strong relationships and providing quality advice and support.
Your responsibilities may include:
- Preparation of financial statements and income tax returns
- Preparation of BAS, IAS and other compliance requirements
- Managing a portfolio of business clients
- Working across companies, trusts, partnerships and individual entities
- Providing taxation and general business advice
- Liaising directly with clients and building strong relationships
- Assisting and mentoring junior and intermediate accountants where required
- Working closely with Managers and Partners
- Ensuring work is completed accurately and within required timeframes
- Supporting clients with their ongoing accounting and compliance needs
About You
We would love to speak with candidates who have:
- Previous experience as a Senior Accountant within public practice, or
- Solid Intermediate Accountant experience and are ready to step up
- Solid knowledge of Australian taxation and accounting requirements
- Experience preparing financial statements and tax returns
- Excellent communication and client relationship skills
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
- A positive attitude and willingness to be part of a collaborative team
- Relevant accounting qualifications
- CA or CPA qualifications, or progress towards these, will be highly regarded
