Site Engineer – Class 2 Apartments & Mixed-Use Developments (Tier 2 Developer-Builder)

We’re partnering with a highly regarded 4 Gold Star iCIRT-rated Sydney Tier 2 Developer/Builder to appoint an experienced Site Engineer to join the delivery team on a Class 2 residential apartment development based in Bankstown, NSW.

About the Role

You will be responsible for supporting the successful delivery of a large-scale Class 2 residential apartment project currently under construction in Bankstown, NSW.

Projects typically include

- Class 2 residential apartment developments
- Multi-storey residential and mixed-use developments

Key Responsibilities

- Coordinate and supervise daily construction activities across site
- Assist with short-term programming, sequencing, and delivery planning
- Manage subcontractor coordination and site logistics
- Monitor quality assurance and compliance with project specifications
- Ensure WHS standards and site safety requirements are maintained
- Review drawings, RFIs, shop drawings, and technical documentation
- Track project progress and support reporting to the Project Manager and Site Manager
- Liaise with consultants, suppliers, subcontractors, and internal delivery teams




- Support project coordination from structure through to finishes and handover

Requirements

- Proven experience as a Site Engineer within a Tier 2 developer-builder environment
- Strong background delivering Class 2 residential apartment developments
- Experience working on projects within the $30M–$100M range preferred
- Strong understanding of construction sequencing, QA, and site coordination
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and technical documentation
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced construction environment
