Company An established accounting and advisory firm is seeking an SMSF Accountant to join its growing specialist team.
The Opportunity
This role would suit an accountant with 1 years' SMSF experience looking to further develop their technical skills within a supportive and skilled environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare SMSF financial statements and annual returns.
- Manage SMSF compliance requirements and liaise with auditors.
- Process contributions, pensions, investments and benefit payments.
- Assist with SMSF establishments, wind-ups and restructures.
- Maintain strong client and stakeholder relationships.
- Support workflow and continuous improvement initiatives.
About You
We are looking for someone who is detail-oriented, proactive and committed to delivering high-quality outcomes.
You will ideally have
- 1 years' experience in SMSF accounting or administration.
- Sound understanding of SMSF compliance and the SIS Act.
- Experience with Class, BGL 360 or similar.
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
- Ability to manage competing priorities independently.
- CA/CPA qualified or studying towards qualification is desirable.
