OneTap is a group payments platform that makes splitting bills with friends instant and automatic. One person taps their card at the terminal, and everyone in the group gets charged their own share on the spot, no fronting the bill, no chasing people afterward, no awkward bank transfers. We're a Sydney-based early-stage startup, moving fast and building something real. We're small and looking for someone who wants genuine ownership over their work, not just a checklist to execute.

Role Description The Social Media Marketing Intern will support OneTap's marketing efforts by creating and publishing engaging content across social platforms, with a focus on growing brand awareness. Day-to-day tasks include developing social media posts, assisting with campaign planning, monitoring platform performance and engagement, and helping manage community interactions such as comments and direct messages. The intern will also collaborate with the team to align social content with broader digital marketing initiatives, research trends in fintech and payments, and suggest new ideas to increase reach and engagement.

This is a rolling unpaid internship, minimum 3 months, hybrid,



with at least two days on-site near Camperdown.

Qualifications

- Solid skills in Social Media Marketing and Digital Marketing, with an understanding of audience engagement and analytics.
- Ability in Social Media Content Creation and Marketing, including planning, drafting, and scheduling posts for multiple platforms.
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to express ideas clearly and adapt messaging to different channels.
- Interest in fintech, payments, or consumer apps and willingness to learn about product features and user behavior.
- Attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to manage tasks in a fast-paced startup environment.
- Comfort working on-site in a collaborative team setting; prior experience with social platforms (e.g., Instagram, TikTok, X, LinkedIn) is beneficial.
- Current enrollment in or recent completion of a marketing, communications, business, or related program is preferred but not required.
