The Role
Location: In office, Eveleigh, Sydney
Duration: Flexible, to suit student availability and course/placement requirements
Please note this is an unpaid internship, structured as a vocational placement in line with your institution's course requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the software engineering team to improve and develop new algorithms;
- Review background literature and test previously developed algorithms;
- Documentation and engineering report writing support
Requirements:
- Be currently studying a 4-year engineering degree (or have a strong mathematical background)
- Have strong software development skills
- Have full working rights in Australia, with citizenship in Australia, Canada, New Zealand, the United Kingdom, the United States, Japan, South Korea, or another European country
Desired:
- Experience with Python and other relevant software development tools
- Strong written communication skills, with an interest in technical documentation
- Positive problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Key learning opportunities:
