? Mining Company / Brisbane? 6 to12 month contract, attractive day rate?️ Hands-on model building, not BAU reporting
Most "asset health" roles have you watching a dashboard someone else built. This one has you building the models.
Future Asset Management is embedded inside a well-known mining company, developing the predictive analytics models that diagnose and forecast equipment health before it fails. We're looking for a Specialist/Analyst, Asset Health Developer to build and maintain those models across critical mining and fixed plant equipment.
What you'll be doing
- Building and maintaining predictive Asset Health models for equipment diagnosis and prognosis
- Mapping failure modes, monitorable symptoms and the actions that fix them
- Monitoring and tuning model performance once they're live
- Supporting the scale up and deployment of models across more sites and asset classes
- Working with site and central teams to find the next high value monitoring opportunity
Who we're keen to speak with
- Reliability engineers or data scientists with a tertiary qualification in Engineering or Data Science
- Hands-on Python and SQL experience, comfortable with time-series data and feature engineering
- Experience with statistical and machine learning techniques for predictive modelling of equipment health and failure risk
- Familiarity with data historians (e.g. PI) and cloud platforms (e.g. Snowflake) is a strong plus
- RCM, FMEA or RCA exposure highly regarded, not essential
The bit that matters mostThis is a 6 to 12 month contract and we need someone in seat rapid. If you'd rather work on real equipment data than a training set, and build something that actually gets used, this is built for you.
If you're looking for another dashboard maintenance role, this isn't it.
