Company Description Hope Physio is a multidisciplinary allied health practice headquartered in Werribee, supporting participants, families, and organisations across Melbourne and Geelong. The practice partners with NDIS participants, Home Care Package recipients, and TAC clients to set meaningful goals and achieve measurable improvements in daily life. Services include Occupational Therapy, Speech Pathology, and Physiotherapy, with a strong focus on functional outcomes such as independence, return to work, and secure ageing at home.

Clinicians provide care both in-clinic and in participants’ homes, ensuring support is delivered in the environments that matter most. Hope Physio values collaboration with support coordinators, plan managers, families, and referral partners to achieve sustainable, client-centred results.

Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Speech Pathologist role based in Melbourne.

The Speech

Pathologist will assess, diagnose, and manage communication and swallowing difficulties for clients across the lifespan, including NDIS participants and other funded clients. Day-to-day tasks include conducting comprehensive assessments, developing and implementing evidence-based therapy plans, and providing individual and group interventions in clinic and community settings.



The role involves documenting progress, preparing reports, and collaborating with families, carers, support coordinators, and other allied health professionals to ensure cohesive, goal-oriented care.

The Speech

Pathologist will also contribute to service planning, participate in multidisciplinary case discussions, and maintain professional development to support high-quality practice.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong skills in Speech Therapy and management of Communication Disorders.
- Candidates should possess knowledge and experience in supporting Language Disorders.
- Candidates should possess clinical expertise in Dysphagia assessment and intervention.
- Recognised degree in Speech Pathology and eligibility for membership with Speech Pathology Australia (or equivalent).
- Experience working with NDIS participants or in community-based allied health settings is beneficial.
- Excellent interpersonal, documentation, and time-management skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team.
- Current driver’s licence and ability to travel locally for client appointments, plus relevant clearances (e.g., Working With Children Check, NDIS Worker Screening) as required.
