Hi, I'm James Batty, Director of Toorak Builders.

We're a small family-owned building company specializing in high-quality renovations, extensions and custom homes across Perth. We don't chase volume or try to build dozens of homes at once. Instead, we focus on doing a smaller number of projects exceptionally well.

As we've grown, I'm looking for someone who shares that same mindset—someone who takes pride in their work, has a keen eye for detail and wants to help build a company they're proud to be part of.

This isn't just another carpentry job. You'll work closely with me and our General Manager to lead our in-house carpentry team, mentor apprentices and deliver renovations that both our clients and our team can be proud of.

About you:

We're looking for someone who:

- Can run a carpentry team.

- Has strong renovation experience (essential).

- Has a keen eye for detail and takes pride in producing quality work.

- Leads by example and enjoys mentoring apprentices.

- Is organized, reliable and communicates well.





- Takes ownership of projects rather than waiting to be told what to do.

- Wants to grow with a business for the long term.
