Roster & Travel

A lifestyle-friendly 2:2 roster, flying in on company time from day one:

- 14 days on (days and nights), 14 off
- Fly in Thursday morning, complete 7 day shifts, fly home Thursday, after 7 night shifts
- FIFO available from Townsville or Cairns via charter flight

The Role

Reporting to the Project Manager, you'll take ownership of the electrical division across both day and night shift, a genuine opportunity to step into a leading hand role as the site continues to grow. Day to day includes:

- Fault finding, diagnostics and breakdown repairs on underground drills (Jumbos and Cablebolters)
- Jumbo box and punt starter installations
- 1000V and 11kV reticulation
- Maintenance, repairs and breakdowns on fans, pumps and vents
- Leaky Feeder communications installs and maintenance
- HV power supply, including substations and HV switching (where signed off)




- General power and lighting work
- Statutory work and auditing

What You'll Bring

You'll be working autonomously across days and nights, so underground hard rock experience is essential:

- Cert III Electrotechnology
- Minimum 12 months' UG hard rock mining experience
- Solid knowledge of drill servicing and breakdowns, plus fans, pumps and vents
- HV switching, substations and HV power supply highly regarded, though not essential
- A strong attitude toward safety, work and being part of a team
- A mature, level head that's ready to step up and take ownership

The Contract & Rates

Marble works closely with this contractor, supplying skilled tradespeople on a temp-to-perm basis. This is a genuinely long-term opportunity, with transition to permanent after 6 swings.

- Marble contract rate (paid weekly): $80.00 to $85.00 per hour plus super
- Permanent client rate: $75.00 per hour plus super, with regular pay reviews
