What will you be doing?

If successful, you will be responsible for performing diagnostics, servicing, and repairs on a range of light vehicles while maintaining high standards of workmanship and safety.

You will undertake a variety of tasks, including:

- Analysing and using diagnostics to assess components and systems
- Inspecting, servicing, and repairing the mechanical parts of light vehicles
- Disassembling and reassembling engines, brakes, transmissions, or steering gear
- Completing service documentation
- Engaging in routine cleaning duties to uphold workplace cleanliness

We are looking for somebody who is reliable, takes pride in their work, and can confidently contribute to a busy employer. You will be a strong team player with the ability to work independently when required and demonstrate a proactive approach to problem-solving. Ideally you will also have:

- A national recognised qualification in Automotive (Light Vehicle Mechanical Technology or equivalent)
- Proven experience services and repairing light vehicles
- Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills
- A commitment to workplace health and safety
- A current driver's license and reliable transport
- The ability to work both autonomously and within a team
- Excellent attention to detail and time management skills
- Great verbal and written communication skills
- A positive attitude and dedication to delivering quality workmanship.
