Initial 6 months contract with a global mining clientFIFO Roster is 8 days on 6 days offExperience Level 2, Level 3 Desktop Support within mining exposureAbout the Role
We are seeking a skilled and proactive Site Support Technician to oversee IT service delivery across a dynamic mining environment.

Key Responsibilities
Provide IT support across mine site operations, ensuring reliable service delivery and user satisfaction.Support and troubleshoot end-user technology including desktops, mobile devices, printers, and AV equipment.Work closely with infrastructure, network, and project teams to maintain IT systems and services.Manage, track, and resolve IT incidents, escalating critical issues when required.Monitor IT service performance, compliance, and SLA requirements.Coordinate with vendors and service providers to ensure stable and effective IT operations.Maintain accurate IT documentation and asset records.Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and support IT projects across the site.Skills & Knowledge Required
University degree, technical certificate, or equivalent experienceExperience in IT services, technical support, and supervisory roles within mining environmentsMine site-based IT support experienceSelf-driven leader with a proactive and strategic approach to IT service deliveryStrong IT operations knowledge,



including customer and vendor relationship managementKnowledge of facilities and infrastructure including data centres, communications rooms, video conferencing, access control, printing, HVAC/UPS, cabling, and related servicesExperience with radio communications and large-scale WiFi networksStrong problem-solving and issue resolution skillsExcellent verbal and written communication skills across all levels of an organisation
