Work and live in a ski resort and ski/snowboard on your days off!!
We are looking for a Au Pair to take care of our beautiful, almost 2 year old boy, Dare from now until the end of September. Experience with this type of work preferable and a love of toddlers is vital!
We live in Falls Creek which is a ski resort located in North East Victoria so if you are looking to sharpen up your snowboarding or skiing skills, love the outdoors and want to live in a fun filled snow town, we would love to hear from you.
Duties…
• Care and entertainment of our boy. Dare LOVES the outdoors and a requirement would be that he is outside for a significant part of the day, even in adverse weather.
• 3 full days, plus a possible 4th day during busy periods.
• 7:30 am start – 3:30-5:30 pm finish
• No nights but optional babysitting when required(paid extra)
• 3 meals and snacks to be prepared for child (potential meal prep for family as well) Meals included when at work and daily coffee included from our cafe.
• Washing and basic cleaning when required but no heavy cleaning.
A little about Dare…
Dare is a happy and energetic 20 month old. He is a social butterfly who loves the people and thrives in the outdoors. He is by all accounts an easy going child who eats well,
sleeps well and is a joy to be around. His love of music and dance is infectious and will have you moving with him in no time…
Mum & Dad – both parents grew up in the area have a fun network of friends and family close by and operate busy businesses on the mountain…
This is a slight different Au Pair job than many as you would not be living in our house but rather in a staff ski lodge approximately 5 mins walk from our apartment…
Accomodation is included in the package at Snowdrift Mountain Staff Lodge. We have a 4 share staff room where you will share with our cafe staff members. The lodge has a great commercial kitchen, large dinning space and outstanding communal longe. It accommodates 70 mountain staff, so it is very community based and a lot of fun.
Additions…
Along with Au Pair position, there are extra hours available at the cafe if wanted as we understand this is not necessarily a full time job.
Requirments…
-Australian Working with Childrens Check.
-Australian/Valid International Drivers Licence(preferred not vital)
