Ganges Indian Restaurant urgently needs a full time cook with relevant experience to join our team and commence work soonest possible.

We are looking for someone who meets the following expectations:

- Preferably (not necessarily) an Australian citizen/permanent resident

- Has at least 3 year’s experience in preparing Indian cuisine

- Has a high standard of food presentation and takes pride in his/her culinary skills

- Ability to guide and train junior cooks in food preparation techniques

- Has a passion for producing quality food to meet customer demand

- Be available for work on most days, including weekends

- Be able to communicate with suppliers to place orders for food supplies

- Fanatical about a tidy and clean hygienic kitchen and ensures food safety requirements are maintained

- Has a happy personality that is maintained under pressure

- Be a team player and has long-term intention to work with us
