Part Time |25 hours per fortnight | Weekend Availability Required | South of River Location

Do you love fashion, thrive in a busy retail setting, and want to make a difference to the cats of WA?

As an experienced Retail Assistant with exceptional customer service and a keen interest in sustainable fashion, you'll be hands-on in all aspects of store operations including sales, stock merchandising and presentation, sorting donations and providing a welcoming shopping experience that keeps customers coming back.

Key Responsibilities:

- Deliver excellent customer service in line with Cat Haven's values, policies and procedures.

- Operate point of sale systems accurately and handle cash securely.

- Receive, sort, price and display donated items (clothing, books, household goods, bric-a-brac).

- Assist with stock rotation and attractive merchandising.

- Perform opening and closing duties, ensuring shop security.

- Maintain housekeeping and adhere to WHS policies and safe work procedures.

- Work collaboratively with staff and volunteers to promote a positive team culture.

What we need from you:

- Minimum one year retail experience (previous Op Shop experience highly regarded).

- A friendly, positive "can-do" attitude with a focus on delivering a positive customer experience.

- Exceptional customer service and clear communication skills.

- Competence in cash handling and Point of Sale systems; basic computer literacy.





- An understanding of fashion brands and visual merchandising techniques.

- High attention to detail and demonstrated organisational skills.

- Physical fitness with the ability to bend, lift and carry up to 15kg on a regular basis and stand for extended periods of time.

- A satisfactory Police Clearance (current within 3 months).

- Full Australian working rights (no sponsorship available)

- Availability to work weekend shifts according to the 7 day a week roster and conduct opening and closing shifts as required.
