About the role

We are a Perth-based construction company specialising in residential, commercial, and a wide range of other building projects. As our business continues to grow, we are currently looking for experienced Civil Supervisor to join our team.

Key responsibilities

1. Supervise and coordinate civil construction activities on-site, ensuring all work meets project specifications and quality standards

2. Manage day-to-day operations and oversee the work of construction teams and subcontractors

3. Conduct daily toolbox talks and safety briefings to promote a strong safety culture on-site

4. Monitor project progress, timelines and budgets, reporting regularly to project management

5. Ensure compliance with all relevant health, safety and environmental regulations and company policies

6. Inspect work quality and materials to ensure they meet contractual requirements and industry standards

7. Liaise with clients, architects, engineers and other stakeholders to address concerns and maintain communication

8. Maintain accurate site records, including daily reports, attendance logs and incident documentation

9. Identify and resolve on-site issues promptly to minimise delays and cost overruns

10. Assist in planning and scheduling of project activities and resource allocation

What we're looking for

1. Proven experience as a Civil Supervisor or similar supervisory role within the construction industry

2. Strong knowledge of civil construction practices, methodologies and safety standards

3. Excellent leadership and team management skills with the ability to motivate and coordinate staff

4. Solid understanding of project management principles, including scheduling, budgeting and resource allocation

5. Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings, plans and specifications

6. Knowledge of health and safety legislation and best practices in the construction sector

7. Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively liaise with teams,



clients and stakeholders

8. Problem-solving ability and capacity to make sound decisions under pressure

9. Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining accurate site documentation

10. Valid driver's licence and willingness to travel to project sites as required

11. Relevant qualifications or certifications in construction supervision or civil engineering (preferred)
