About the role

We are seeking a qualified Painter tradesman or 2nd/3rd year apprentice to join our team at Cutting Edge Painting Act' in Canberra, ACT. This is a full-time position where you will play a key role in our painting and decorating services for commercial and residential properties.

What you'll be doing

1. Prepare surfaces for painting through sanding, filling, and cleaning

2. Apply paint, stain, varnish, or other finishes to walls, ceilings, and other surfaces

3. Mix paint colours to match specific requirements

4. Use a variety of tools and equipment, such as brushes, rollers, and spray guns

5. Follow safety procedures and maintain a clean and organised work environment

6. Collaborate with the team to ensure projects are completed to a high standard

7. Provide exceptional customer service to our clients

What we're looking for

1. Qualified Painter tradesman or 2nd/3rd year apprentice

2. Experience in preparing surfaces and applying various paints, stains, and finishes

3. Ability to read and interpret technical specifications and instructions

4.



Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality workmanship

5. Good communication and customer service skills

6. Reliable, punctual, and able to work as part of a team

7. Knowledge of relevant health and safety regulations
