We require a Removalist /Delivery Driver who has a “medium rigid” driver’s license, is self-motivated and is prepared to be very flexible. Experience in furniture removal and delivery to building sites and commercial premises is required. This is a fulltime position and will become permanent after a qualifying period. There is potential for you to be promoted through the business over time. The role includes delivering glass display fridges, commercial cooking equipment, materials for the construction team and then general pallets of positive to transport yards
Duties include: Deliveries, pick-ups, loading and unloading with care, packing, fork driving (license required),
customer liaison, scheduling deliveries, cleaning and testing products.
We are offering a normal 38 hour week plus over-time when required at penalty rates.
You need to be a customer focused person who is physically strong and fit and willing to have very hands on approach while driving our 3-tonne truck and delivering our products.
You are supported by an offsider for the heavy lifting and delivery of equipment as well as a transport manager helping coordinate your day.
