Genus is seeking an experienced SHEQ Advisor to join the Clean Energy Link North project. Working across a major transmission infrastructure project, you'll play a key role in driving a positive safety culture, ensuring compliance, and supporting project teams to deliver work safely, efficiently and to the highest standard.

About the Role
Reporting to the SHEQ Manager and Project Manager, you'll work closely with operational teams to provide practical safety leadership across project activities.
Your responsibilities will include:

- Providing day-to-day SHEQ advice and support to project teams
- Promoting a solid safety culture through visible field leadership
- Conducting site inspections, audits and workplace observations
- Investigating incidents and facilitating corrective actions
- Assisting with SWMS, risk assessments and safety documentation
- Supporting contractor onboarding and compliance
- Delivering toolbox talks and SHEQ training
- Monitoring legislative compliance and company standards
- Building strong relationships with operational teams and clients

About You





- Certificate IV in Work Health & Safety (minimum)
- 3+ years' experience in a SHEQ Advisor role
- Strong knowledge of WHS legislation and compliance requirements
- Experience within construction, utilities, infrastructure or resources
- White Card
- Current C Class Driver's Licence
- National Police Clearance
- Current First Aid & CPR
- ICAM Investigation Training (highly regarded)
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
- Ability to influence positive safety behaviours across diverse workforces
