About the role

As a Senior Permits Compliance Officer, you'll join a small, collaborative team delivering the Marine Park permit compliance program. The role combines compliance, stakeholder engagement and continuous improvement, with responsibilities including leading desktop and field audits, investigating reports of non-compliance, preparing official correspondence and working with internal teams, government agencies and stakeholders across the tourism and reef research sectors.

1. Deliver permit compliance and enforcement activities.
2. Lead desktop and field audits.
3. Provide advice and official correspondence to permit holders.
4. Build strong relationships with stakeholders and support team capability.
5. Analyse compliance information and contribute to reporting.
6. Improve compliance strategies, policies and procedures.
