Skillforce Recruitment are currently seeking a committed and experienced PM Forklift Operator/Loader to join our valued client based in Kewdale
This hands-on role is suited to an individual with a strong background in freight handling and loading. Previous experience loading interstate line haul trailers is essential. Experience operating long tyned forklifts is preferred but not required.
Key Responsibilities
- Protected and accurate loading/unloading of interstate line haul trailers
- Operation of forklifts (long tyned forklift experience preferred)
- Securing loads in accordance with COR and WHS requirements
- Meeting dispatch schedules and operational deadlines
- Maintaining a safe and organised work area
· Wednesday: 10:00am – 6:00pm
· Thursday: 12:00pm – 8:00pm
· Friday: 12:00pm – 8:00pm
· Some overtime may be required on Tuesday and Friday
Essential Criteria
- Previous experience loading interstate line haul trailers
- Forklift licence (long tyned forklift experience preferred but not required)
- Physically fit with ability to perform manual handling tasks
- High attention to detail and safety compliance
- Reliable, punctual, and a positive team contributor
