We are looking for an experienced Medical Receptionist to join our growing team, working across our Beeliar and Coogee Medical Centres, as well as our onsite imaging clinic, BD Imaging.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone who enjoys variety in their role, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and takes pride in delivering exceptional patient service. You will work closely with our GPs, allied health professionals, and imaging team to ensure a seamless experience for our patients.

We are currently looking for someone seeking full-time hours. If you are looking for casual hours - please email us. Our Beeliar clinic operates extended hours, 7 days a week, so flexibility to work outside the traditional 9:00 am to 5:00 pm schedule is essential.

About the Role

As a receptionist, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of the practice.

Your responsibilities will include:

- Managing daily front desk operations

- Providing outstanding patient service and communication

- Appointment scheduling and managing GP diaries

- Processing Medicare, EFTPOS and patient billing

- Managing patient enquiries both in person and over the phone





- Assisting with administrative tasks and maintaining patient records

- Help with management tasks

About You

We are looking for someone who is organised, proactive, adaptable and enjoys working as part of a collaborative healthcare team.

The ideal candidate will have:

- Previous experience in a medical reception role (radiology or imaging reception experience is highly regarded but not essential)

- Experience using Best Practice software

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

- Strong organisational and multitasking abilities

- A professional, calm and compassionate approach in a busy environment

- High attention to detail and excellent problem-solving skills

- The ability to work across multiple clinics and adapt to changing priorities
