Emerald Carrying Company (ECC) is seeking a reliable, safety-focused, and professional MC Fuel Tanker Driver to join our growing Townsville operations team.

In this role, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient transportation of bulk fuel products while ensuring compliance with dangerous goods regulations, road transport legislation, and company safety standards.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced MC driver looking to build a long-term career within the fuel transport industry.

No Fuel Experience. No Problem.

ECC provides comprehensive in-house training designed to equip you with the skills, confidence, and industry accreditations required to safely operate as a professional Fuel Tanker Driver.

The Role

- Carry out comprehensive pre-start inspections and routine checks on fuel tankers, trailers, and associated equipment to ensure safety and compliance standards are met
- Adhere to fatigue management requirements, Chain of Responsibility (CoR) obligations, and all applicable road transport legislation
- Complete delivery paperwork, electronic records, and driver logbooks accurately and efficiently
- Demonstrate professionalism and excellent customer service when interacting with clients, depot staff, and site personnel

- 6/5 Roster
- 6 Day (AM) Shifts / 1 Non-Rostered Shifts & 5 Night (PM) Shifts & 2 Non-Rostered Shifts
- 13hr Daily Shifts

About You

- Current MC licence with Road Ranger experience
- Current Dangerous Goods (DG) licence or willingness to obtain
- Previous bulk fuel or tanker experience highly regarded, but not essential
- Safe Load Program (SLP) and Basic Fatigue Management (BFM) accreditation highly regarded; assistance available for successful applicants to obtain these qualifications
- Strong commitment to safety, professionalism, and compliance
- Reliable work ethic with excellent communication skills
