Jet Black Pavements is seeking an experienced HC Driver to join our dynamic team as Float Operator. As a Float Operator, you will play a vital role in our road transport operations, ensuring the safe and efficient transport of asphalt paving machines and asphalt across The Central Coast. This is a full-time position based in West Gosford, NSW.
What you'll be doing
- Safely operate heavy combination vehicles, including loading/unloading of machinery and transporting asphalt in a flocon (walking floor) trailer.
- Adhere to all relevant road transport regulations and company policies
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle roadworthiness
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of our transport operations
What we're looking for
- A valid HC (Heavy Combination) driver's licence with a minimum of 3 years' experience
- Excellent knowledge of road rules and safe driving practices
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
- Commitment to delivering high-quality work
- Good physical fitness
