As a result of a secured engagement with one of our Defence/National Security industry partners, Helix requires the interest of multiple ICT Architects to join this top tier defence industry client.

We're looking to build a new multi disciplinary project delivery team with proven experience of solving complex problems, who thrive working as part of a team to push boundaries and are passionate about leveraging technology to produce world-class outcomes for critical defence and national security customers.

*NV2 clearance is a preferred requirement for this workplace, however some positions will accept NV1 clearances.

Hybrid and remote working will be considered for these opportunities.

Multiple Architecture Opportunities:

- Senior VCF Architect
- Senior Network Architect
- Senior Infrastructure Architect
- Senior NSX Architect
- Migration Architect

Key Responsibilities

- Design, architect, and implement enterprise-grade infrastructure solutions leveraging VMware virtualization platforms and Cisco networking technologies
- Develop scalable, resilient, and secure hybrid infrastructure architectures across data centre and cloud environments
- Lead the design and deployment of VMware solutions including vSphere, NSX, vSAN, and Horizon (where applicable)
- Architect and maintain Cisco-based network environments, including routing,



switching, firewalls, and software-defined networking (SDN)
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align infrastructure architecture with business and application requirements
- Provide technical leadership and governance across infrastructure projects, ensuring adherence to architecture standards and best practices
- Define and maintain architecture documentation, including high-level and low-level designs, standards, and roadmaps
- Support pre-sales or solutioning activities by contributing to proposals, cost estimates, and technical presentations
- Lead troubleshooting and root cause analysis for complex infrastructure and network issues
- Ensure solutions meet defence security, compliance, and regulatory requirements
- Mentor engineers and technical teams, promoting knowledge sharing and capability uplift
- Work closely with vendors and partners to ensure optimal solution delivery and support
