Airswift are currently partnered with a mechanical engineering workshop in Henderson and are looking to hire a number of tradespeople for ongoing work.
Positions on offer
- 1x Rubber Liner
- Must have forklift ticket
- Previous workshop experience is desirable
- 3x Painter/Blasters (more on the painter side)
- Must have forklift ticket
- Ability to complete Paint VOC prior to starting
- Working at Heights, White Card, Confined Space
- Strong knowledge of industrial paints and coating systems
- Competent using airless and conventional spray equipment
- Trade III Cert in Surface Prep and Coating Application
- 4x Welders
- Welders must pass weld test for 3G flux core and Stick 3G
- Marine experience preferred
- Carbon steel experience required
- 4x Boilermakers (Leading Hand position also available)
- Plate / structural and preferably arc air gouging experience.
- Heavy fabrication experience
- Ability to ready engineered drawings and valid welding tickets
- Fire Centry ticket required or willing to get one
- 5x Mechanical Fitters
- Experience with shafts, gearboxes, realignments
- Working at Heights, White Card, Confined Space, Fire Sentry (or willing to get)
Details of employment
- Start dates diverse between now until mid August
- 6.30am start
- 10 hour days with some weekend work available
- Ongoing work for the right candidate
- Current National Police Clearance within 3-months required or willing to get one
- Work on marine and defence infrastructure
