We're seeking a dedicated and hardworking Farm Hand(s) to help Prune Blueberries at our Main Ridge, Victoria facility. This is a full-time position and you'll be required to prune and maintain our blueberry crops, playing a vital role in ensuring optimal plant health and fruit production. This hands-on role is essential to our farming operations and directly contributes to the quality of our produce.
Key responsibilities
1. Perform precision pruning of blueberry plants according to established horticultural standards and seasonal requirements
2. Maintain blueberry plants to ensure healthy growth, optimal fruiting, and disease prevention
3. Inspect plants for signs of disease, pest damage, or other issues and report findings to supervisors
4. Contribute to the general maintenance and cleanliness of the farming area
5. Work collaboratively with other farm staff to meet production schedules and quality standards
6. Assist with other seasonal farm tasks as required
What we're looking for
1. Physical fitness and ability to perform repetitive manual labour outdoors in varying weather conditions
2. Experience in farm labour, horticulture, or plant cultivation is highly desirable
3. Previous experience with pruning or plant maintenance is essential
4. Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high quality standards

Ability to follow instructions and work safely with hand tools and equipment
